CAKES Crumbs now offers cakes! These cakes are strictly made-to-order, and completely home-made.1. The Adult Chocolate Cake This is our bitter chocolate cake for those who've seen more of life and its ironies. Moist chocolate cake layers sandwich a rich, bittersweet and liquor-accented ganache filling and raspberry jam. Ganache also covers the entire cake in whoops and swirls. Made with minimum 70% cocoa. 85% on request. 9"- $20 11"- $35 Add-ons: Dark chocolate truffles at additional $1/truffle Contains alcohol 2. The Perennial Chocolate Cake Simply that. A chocolate cake lighter in proportions and irony than the Adult Chocolate Cake, with buttercream frosting and a filling of your choice. Fillings (One): Strawberries, bananas or chocolate Add-on: On request 9"- $18 11"- $28 3. The Triple O Three amazing flavours fill this cake, from the smooth and soft mascaporne cream cheese frosting, to the moist Grand Marnier-soaked chocolate cake layers, right down to the middle: a gorgeous banana and citrus-scented cream cheese filling. Yes, we hear you. 9"- $24 11"- $36 Contains Alcohol 4. The Christina Aguilera It's as gay as it gets with this cake, plump and sour raspberries crammed in between yellow-crumbed butter cake, swished all over with sweet and tangy cream cheese frosting and coconut. Tinged with Malibu rum, tell us this doesn't get your gaydar going. Contains Alcohol 5. Beyonce Knows Take Christina and turn her butter cake all chocolate, and you get the Beyonce. Contains Alcohol Items #4 and #5 9"- $24 11"- $36 6. Tiramisu Coffee and rum-soaked sponge cake layers crammed with mascaporne cream filling and frosting, and dusted with cocoa powder. No fancy tricks. We also do this in the traditional ramekin portions, with proper savoyardi biscuits instead of sponge. Add-ons: Raspberries, additional $8. 9" only- $36 Ramekin- Minimum 9, $36 A word on our cakes Crumbs doesn't believe in over-accessorising our cakes, and this stems from a belief that the cake, and not the decorations, should take centre-stage. This also stems from the fact that we here at Crumbs are just lousy cake-decorators. Drop us a word, though, and if you move our hearts, we'll see what we can do. Also, unless otherwise specified, all cakes are delivered cold, and should remain refigerated according to directions. Cakes will serve up to 16 people with thin slices, 12 with generous slices. With an 11" cake, you just get loads more per slice, with the potential of feeding some 40 people with clever knife-work and trigonometry. This has been trial-tested. Ordering is as usual, except that this is strictly at 2 weeks' notice. ABOUT Welcome to CRUMBS, a little home-based bakery where we churn out made-to-order baked goods with the incomparable flavour and quality of made-from-scratch munches.Baked goods are best made at home, with quality ingredients, careful attention and a watchful baker's eye- nothing beats the preservative-free, natural tasting flavour of well made treats. Here's a quick rundown of what CRUMBS offers, and information on ordering. The catalogue is currently under development, and new flavours are on the way! GOODS ARE CUSTOMISABLE! What this catalogue provides is a general overview of the various flavours we offer, but it's really up to you and your imagination and taste to throw in extra fillings. A chewy chocolate muffin can be morish and sweet with a dollop of chocolate chunks and oreo bits, or evolve instantly into a mature tasting chocolate-walnut combination. Have everything suited to whatever you want- and that, to us, captures what it means to make home bakes! Some serving suggestions- Customising bakes to your tastes Muffins Muffins are perhaps the most versatile of all the goods we're offering at the moment, and that's because they're so chock full of ingredients. Choosing what goes into the muffins you order makes all the difference. Here is a list of the extra bits we offer with our muffins. Streusel: A crunchy, crumbly topping to go with your muffins, providing a buttery top layer for added bite. We offer simple butter streusel, cinnamon streusel and streusel with nuts (walnut, mainly). Suggestion: Banana-blueberry muffins with walnut streusel Chocolate Ganache: This is really just a fancy name for chocolate frosting, and gives your muffins an added, indulgent sheen.Added chunks: Why not? We'll chunk up anything on request, chocolate, nuts, fruit... within a tasteful limit, of course. Choice additions: Want oreos with your chewy chocolate muffins? Why not? If you're the more mature muffin-lover, lightly toasted walnuts in our chewy chocolate muffins provide that added bitterness we've come to appreciate. White chocolate centres? Who doesn't love that extra sweetness? It's really, really up to you.Berry blends: At the moment, we offer muffins with blueberry or dried cranberry, though we'd be happy to upgrade and give you Blueberry-Raspberry. It's a slightly acquired taste, but those with an appetite for that subtle sourness of fresh raspberries will love this. Texture: There's a fine line between a soft, chewy cookie and a crunchy one, and that line is preference. If you order cookies from us, we'll ask for your texture preferences. Extras: Extra chocolate chips? Extra chocolate chunks? You know the drill :D We can work around your preferences for cookie sizes and shapes. If you've grown up on flat, spread-out cookies, we'll see what we can do. In general, however, our cookies, if left undisturbed, have a rather normal look to them. TERMS & CONDITIONS Ordering Orders should reach us at least 1 week before intended delivery, and can be made by email or SMS (see contact information). To facilitate orders do include these details in your email or SMS: - Name - Mobile - Details of Product - Details of Customisation Unfortunately, we generally do not sell baked goods on a per-piece basis. They're made to order, so there's a minimum order of 10 pieces per flavour for muffins and brownies, and 100g for cookies. It doesn't hurt to ask for less, of course, and given whatever situation we're in, we'll try to accomodate your orders! Delivery All goods come in specially handmade boxes with the CRUMBS logo and design, courtesy of Hao.  Muffins and brownies may be frozen prior to delivery to preserve freshness, but this does not affect the taste nor the texture.
